AroundYork is a website built to provide residents and tourists with information about what’s happening in the city as well as the best places to eat, drink and visit whilst staying in our great city. It’s built on WordPress and uses a range of services to provide up to date information from a number of sources including council data and weather information.
Welfare Conditionality is a research project based out of the University of York and a handful of other universities. They approached me to rebuild their website and make a number of design changes to make it easier for people to interact with the website and easier for staff to update the content.
“We asked Simon to help us upgrade our website. He understood what we wanted and chipped in great ideas of his own. Then he delivered the project, on time and to budget. Now our site looks good and is much easier to use. Job done!”

Gabriel is a fashion designer who came to me wanting to have a simple minimalist looking website to showcase his fashion portfolio and provide a way for people to contact him easily. I designed him a fully responsive website that used monotone colours so as to put the main focus on his portfolio of work.
EvergreenPA is a non-profit organisation which focuses on education, health and sports development for young people and communities in the UK and developing regions around the world. I was tasked with building a website that allowed visitors to keep up to date with all of the latest projects and news from the organisation. I also designed business cards, letterheads and envelopes to match the organisation’s branding.
